Bristol - Park and bike-ride

Hi,
does anyone commute by car into the north of Bristol (M4/M32) before hopping on the bike for the run into town?
I'd be coming from the M4 (towards Swindon) and wondered if anyone had found a good place to dump the car. Sometimes the whole "parking-the-car-and-getting-going" thing can take ages... much, much longer than it should.
Cheers, Mombee.

There is a park and ride in Brislington - around the A4174 ring road - otherwise, you could park at Aztec West and cycle in. Depends on where you have to get to in town....
Stapleton, easton, Horfield backstreets are generally non-restricted parking. Maybe easier to do that.0 -
Hi there
I drive from North Somerset to Bedminster triangle and park the car on the side of the road (be careful of narrow roads with cars on both sides as my car was scraped the other day when a car rubbed along the side). I then either run or cycle in the last couple of miles to the town centre.
It takes the same amount of time to park up, cycle in, shower and get to my desk as it does to drive in to the centre, find some residential road to park in and then walk 5mins to the office.
Much easier and no worries with leaving the car in a residential road for the day (other than avoiding narrow roads).
Try it, you will wonder why you didnt try it earlierBoardman Team Comp
