Anyone know anything about these on Ebay number 200299048205
Look like a good price and light. From a company called http://info.carboncycles.cc//index.php their part number CC-F0125. I have a Scott Montana with Suntour forks which are not very good so I'm thinking of going S/S with a pair of these forks. What do you all think ?

Been wondering about getting a set of the aluminium exotics for my GT for ages. They look good and the price is about right.
Everyone seems to have the carbons, not heard of anyone with the aluminiums though.0 -
Just ordered set of Aluminium ones 'cos they are nearly as light as the carbon but cost a good deal less. Let you know what they are like when they come.0

Aluminium forks will be pretty unforgiving but should be nice and light, Steel forks are better for absorbing hits but heavy. That's where "carpet fiber" ones come in as they are light and will flex more than steel.
I run Surly Instigator forks which V. heavy (which for me at 230lbs is reassuring) though the straight legs can be quite harsh.0 -
Let me know what they are like Steve, might kick my but into action and finally do something about changing my ancient Rockshox Indy S.0

Just put the eXotic rigid aluminium forks on my GT commuter/family run-around.
Yes, they do feel a little harsh compared to suspension forks, and probably carbon rigids, but the gains in the handling department make up for this.
At the price these forks take some beating.
Still running Specialized Hemisphere 26 x 1.95 tyres, they give me all the suspension I need down country lanes.0
