coiler shock

hey, posting this for a friend

he has an 05 coiler and wants to replace the stock vanilla with an x fusion vector.
however i think the i2i of the vector on crc (190 mm) is 10mm less than the coilers, which i think is 200.

can anyone confirm this?
also wat difference would the 10mm shorter i2i make?

    it will make the bike a pain to ride.

    get a shock of the same length and i2i and even of the same make (as the fitting kit will be the same).

    if he's replacing it then he has to get one exactly the same size. 10mm might not sound like a lot but it will effect the ride more than you would think. it can feel wallowy, spongey and disconnected.
