a good, perhap unusual..., front hub ?
I'm going to get a new handbuilt for the front - something decent for summer rides. I'm fairly settle on a OP ceramic rim as I like the braking properties but I'm wondering about which hub to go for. The last set of wheels had Tune hubs which were fine, but I'm tempted buy something perhaps a litlle more unusual this time, such as Acros or even a large flange one (?).
Any ideas? Maybe even one which would suit a radial build (which is another thread..." are radial builds better?")

Radials are OK as long as the hub has strong enough flanges - AFAIK there aren't many large flange road hubs about, unless you went for something like a Phil Wood track hub with a QR. Radial wheels by their construction are not as strong laterally - so probably less suited to hard cornering such as crits.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
