What to do about bike situation

As my mountain bike was stolen, I'm having to consider getting a pannier rack for the SCR and using that as transport rather than a 'play' bike (Although I did a fair bit of mileage, they were pleasure rides)

Will it cope with the sort of roads you get around building sites do you think? I'm an apprentice sparky.

    be fine might need to get race guards etc or you'll have a nice muddy stripe. mud etc will wear rims and gears though.
