I have these on my Yeti with braided hose and floating disc, 180mm front and rear.
Totally awesome in every way. The amount of feel & power is just unreal.
They make me smile all the time, not found any condition yet (including extreme wet mud) that comes close to unsettling them.
The adjustment with the levers is very accurate too!0 -
What shifters are you using? I've heard that theres a bit of a problem using SRAM shifters next to them0
-
I have the X-O which do go together, although the shifters are quite upright (but I do like the brake levers very much angled down) They do still butt up together.
I hear Hope are planning a combination bracket.0 -
Mine are arriving on tues so will let you know, problem is, they look too good to use :oops:Scott Scale Custom

I've had nothing but problems with my Hope Mono M4's from the day they were new so I'll never buy Hope again, but I hope yours work out ok.

Whats gone wrong with your Mono's Joe?
Hope have a first class customer service backup.0 -
They're just rubbish.
Tried different pads, rotors, umpteen bleeds, you name it, but they are still very poor.0 -
Hopefully, the revised lever's and calipers should be better, i've never owned Hope brakes so just wanted to try them really. All my Peak riding pals swear by them, but then again I hear as much bad stuff about them from others.Scott Scale Custom

Sorry Joe no idea what wrong with yours but these Beautys
stopped me from going over a drop off at the last minute and hitting
my mates head.
Another friend bought these over the new Tech 4's0 -

I have had my Hope M4 for years. They have never had a problem even after trips to both the Swiss and French Alps as well as racing in the Mega Avalanche and seeing action on countless UK downhills. Before that I had the original Hope Ti6 that I only got rid of the for the M4 as I thought they were over kill. I would be happy to recommend Hope brakes to any one.0

I have Sram X9 shifters next to my hope levers
Again no problems there.0 -
Got the new Tech M4 brakes on my 224 Evo World Cup 2009. They look really nice and perform pretty well too. The lever adjustment is pretty robust-looking and the graphics are very patriotic. And if you need some advice on them you can pick up the phone and talk to the fine people in Barnoldswick.
Then again, my shimano M525 brakes on my old Patriot have also done a pretty good job of stopping me for the last five years.
