missing personal message

I received notification of a new personal message at 11.14 today
however when I looked in my inbox there are no new messages since the 27th Jan ?
I have cleared most of my inbox so its nearly empty .
Has anyone any idea what has happened to the message ?

    Wasn't delayed notification of the last PM?
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    I had the same thing. Was it perhaps a message from someone who was identified as a spammer and who then had their account deleted? I seem to recall a post about PM spam in the last couple of days.

    thanks for the quick update. I was expecting a message about a purchase so wanted to be sure I had nor missed an important pm

    No probs. Unless the message was from a long lost relative from the Ivory Coast you should be ok.
