Turin to Bourg D'Oisans on public transport

I have some guests who will be traveling in Italy at the begging of October who plan to stay at our cycling Lodge from where they intend to Cycle the Alpe D'Huez. Does anyone know if it is possible to get from Turin to Bourg D'Oisans on public transport at that time of the year.

Trains from Turin to Oulx are fairly regular throughout the day.

Then there's a bus service to Briancon which takes about an hour.
