Ditto, worth putting them in a mesh bag if you have one to keep the straps under control.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result

  • it can be done at lower temperatures

but I have always been advised not to wash neoprene in a machine using detergents as the detergent can get trapped in the neoprene and cause skin irritation when the pads get sweaty, of course this can depend on the brand of washing powder / liquid, the quality of your washing machine and your skin sensitivity!

I have always washed my Kyle Straits in the bath using hair shampoo, they come up clean and I have never had any irritation problems with them

Is there like a sticker on it with some basic information?

For example on my gloves there is, and it says "Machine washable" and 40° on the picture.

On the helmet: Use soapy water for washing the paddings, something like that.

    They are both 661.

Why wash them? Neoprene doesn't rot for years
