Carbon frame/campag equipped - £1500approx

Would like some ideas about a new road bike - campag equipped ,carbon frame, compact chainset- not too bothered about quality of wheels as replacements are ready. The Ribble nero corsa looks good value. Not concerned about brand name - amazing that Giant and specialized don't seem to come with Campag.Price up to £1500.

I personally think Ribble bikes offer tremendous value for money. A big "name" bike would probably cost you 20 - 30% more for similar spec. Of course the only downside is you have to buy online... unless of course you live not too far from Preston.
I recently bought my first road bike from Ribble... basic 7005 frame, Campag Veloce groupset, Deda finishing kit and Campag Khamsin wheelset... and I'm very pleased with it. Fortunately I live about 45 mins away and was able to go to the shop and get fitted on their jig.
If I had your budget, one of the Ribbles would be on my shortlist. Also check out Dave Hinde based in Northwich, Chesire. http://davehinde.veriovps.co.uk/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=index&Store_Code=DH
I'd avoid Dave Hinde....

Spend a bit of time putting a budget together and look for frames - then get the campag bits you want and a half decent set of wheels and you are laughing.
I agree that ribble make good value - I don't think that the nero corsa frame is that bad looking - and they do two other carbon frames - the scuro and the ribbelle - for you to pick from - all are made by Deda and are decent frames.
