it's on the Pc World website:

    http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/editorial/Garmin-Edge

But when you try to add it to the basked it comes up out of stock. Did Halfords really do a pricematch?

cant believe some people got them for those prices!!!

thats strange because on their website it says that they dont price match against internet deals

    Price Promise

If you can buy the same product cheaper, within seven days and 20 miles of the store, Halfords will match the price. Even against trade outlets! Please ask in your local Halfords store for details of terms and conditions. Excludes online and catalogue orders.

Just got lucky I guess got a muppet who said they had to check and see if they were in stock so I showed him the website on my iphone and he took it from that
best part is they are next door to PC world (who dont have stock) and if he had got me to add one to the basket on me phone they dont have them either
Just pop into your local halfords and give it a go

    205 & 305s don't have routing on like a standard GPS would.

They use GPS for speed calculation, but they also give lots more. The training software centre does have a basic map in on which you can see your route and stats. You can export to Google maps as well when back at base.

if you want full GPS routing however, 605 / 705 are the Garmin options.

Yes you are right but you can load in a route and follow that, it does not give turn instructions but you can easily follow the route on the screen so can guide you
you can also plot your own route on the computer and load into the garmin or you can ride a route and have the garmin recored it and then you can make it into a course that you can use next time to try and improve your time etc

Routes do give turn instructions,it bleeps and shows the direction to go in at your waypoints.Courses don`t.

I make my own on the pc with garmin city navigator which came with a car sat nav and also with memory map but there are various online sites that use google maps to plan your route. One is called bikely I think but if you go on the motionbased forum you can find out more.

i take it you mean that the 205 and 305 models can do this?? if so how do you plot routes and courses and upload them?? and how difficult is it?
