Hey guys, my brake pads are starting to look worn out, could anyone point me to the correct type I should buy? I had a look at the websites and didn't know which one would be the right one. A recommended one would also be appreciated.
Cheers

I've bought some £4 Aztec inserts (PB3002, IIRC) on the rear after favourable mentions on here. Get the inserts only, they slip straight in to the existing shoe.

I have Kool-Stop salmon&black dual compound on my MTB (canti) and they are excellent.
Aspire not to have more, but to be more.

Another Kool-Stop fan here. Recomended by wheel builders at Spa Cycles

    Check them out and enjoy.

I bought swisstop green ones to replace the Shimano pads mine came with, they work great but stupidly expensive, will probably give Koolstop ones a try next time.
  • I replaced the blocks on my SCR3 with Koolstop salmons, after hearing good reports here. An unbelivable increase in performance. And it's true, better brakes allow you to go faster!

which ones exactly - bought some V-brake ones and they don't fit, they are too long!

If you have Shimano or similar brakes you need the Dura ones. Follow John.Cs link.
