have a perfectly good 50l backpack, which i intend to use for commuting, but i want an ortlieb messenger bag for no apparent reason, why is this? what's wrong with me? but it;s so shiny and new!!!!!!!!

    perfectly normal. i saw the ugly bugger in this months SINGLETRACK and really want one. not as much as i want a Chrome Ivan bag.......

    I'm reliably informed that this is upgrade heaven territory where people simply feel the need to spend on their bikes by replacing perfectly good things with new shiny things. Perfectly normal (but expensive)
