Anyone here ridden the trails at Llandegla this week?

We are planning to ride there tomorrow and don't want a 150 mile round trip ruined by boggy trails!

Friend was up there last night, it was a bit wet, it never gets boggy just maybe a few puddles.

popped up there today and theres only 1 real muddy bit for about 10 meters tops where they've been chopping tree's down nearly ripped my rear derailleur off last 2 times i've been on the same feckin stump there. apart from that its all over a bit soggy but nothing that will bog you down in any way. nice coating of snow up top still aswell.

It was mint. It had been raining a bit but the trails were fine, it was all rideable.

There was loads of snow once you got up to the top too, I've never ridden in snow before.

I managed to leave a Wellgo MG1 pedal imprint in my shin, I lost my foot over the first tabletop!

    $%££"!!!!

My bad luck of this week continues - after falling off and cracking my front teeth on ice earlier this week, arrived at Llandegla this morning and somehow managed to snap the bolt that holds on the rear mech, fortunately I had not left the car park , so maybe the Gods were looking down on me.

Need a new rear mech and rear hanger now!!!

oops. Bet you were peed off about that.

On a similar note when we got back to the car, and group of riders just turned up and were unloading their shoot. One of them went for a little tester on his rig and he came back with the left-side crank in his hand!!!

Nope, Gisburn Forest, looks like it's going to be really good when it's finished. The contractors start this week and the volunteers have already put in about 300m of trail. 5000 tonnes of rock due to crushed in the near future

Could turn into a local full blown trail centre if it all comes together (there are very tentative plans for a cafe & bike wash etc.).

Anyone fancy a run from Hull?

Would be interested in chipping in for fuel, we can use my car as well, as I have a nice comfy large 4x4.

Would cost approx £60 in fuel between 4 of us?

Oops bit impatient waiting for the computer! Sorry
Would be interested in a drive out from Hull if anyone else would be game in car sharing?

Save a bit of petrol money!

Could use my large 4x4 - approx £60 in petrol, then spilt 4 ways?

    Let me know.
