  • Get some more ale down your neck then, when the beer goggles turn on, everything will look rosey.

yep i have. and it was really nice.
Thinking of getting a smaller frame to what i currently have (17.5") cos i'm finding it a bit big and heavy for twisty trail riding and trying to get air is quite difficult. although its great for normal XC.

trying to get air is difficult? Aged 15 i was given a 23" raleigh bike and told to ride it irregardless of size problems. It was a beast for speed if i'm honest, and it did a couple of jumps until it snapped in half riding around a quarry with mates

well maybe i'm just not very good at jumping....! (in fact i'd say that's a definite)
but the bike i have is pretty heavy to be honest.
  • heh don't worry, there's always something that others can do better and with me not having ridden for 3-4 years and that was only on a haro which was way too dirt-jump based to do any distance on, my fitness is probably worse than anyones.

I like the odd bit of jumping, plus you can put together a nice little mess about bike for next to nothing... I built my silly little bike for about £250 and it is such a riot.

Can't ride more than about 3 miles on it though!
