trek fuel ex 7

Thinking of getting a 2009 trek fuel ex 7 and getting shot of my 2008 trek 6700 is the fuel a good bike as a step up from a hard tail ? and does anyone have an idea of how much the 6700 is worth ? any feed back would be great !

    I tried out a fuel ex 6.5 recently and really liked it. The only thing that's really stopped me taking the plunge is that it doesn't have the ABP brake system and I don't know how much of a difference that makes. The 7 has ABP though, so you wouldn't have that issue.

    I would say that it felt a lot more positive with a shorter stem, so it's worth trying to get that changed.

    from a quick search on google the 6.5 is about £1200 bucks or there abouts, if you look about you can find a 2009 ex 7 for the same money ! check ebay for a start I would'nt buy it from ebay but if you tell your lbs about it they may match it, they have for me !
