Anyone been to either in the last couple of weeks?

Just wondered what the trail conditions are like, as after all the rain I'm not sure if I can drag myself through the mud of Epping forest this weekend.

Was at Thetford on Sunday. It wasn't actually too bad, not much mud or water (although I don't ride the waymarked trails). Saying that, it's rained solidly and heavily all day here (about 20 miles up the road from Thetford).
