Anyone recomend a good long weekend location?

Me and a few mates are looking to have a long weekend of MTBing in the summer. Can anyone recomend a good location. We were thinking of Scotland or Wales.

    Any of the 7 Stanes centres.

    Have a look at combining a few - find yourself some accomodation near Innerleithen, Galashiels or Peebles and try Glentress and Inners.

    Or Base yourselves in Galloway (I suggest Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie or Kirkudbright) and do Mabie, Dalbeattie and Kirroughtree.

    Aviemore. Loads of trails around there - mainly 'natural'. You are best contacting Bothy Bikes to get routes - they sell maps with graded routes on. Amazing scenary.
