numb feet

I've been getting numb toes on my 16 mile commute to work..
I ride clipped with decent shimano shoes and they are the correct size.

Any suggestions how to avoid when clipped in for 50-60 mins at a time?

    Good socks (people with cash swear by woolie boolies) and overshoes should do the trick, my toes are completely dead when I get to work/home after 20 miles with toe covers (i'm too skint to buy overshoes!)

    If it isnt the cold what pedals do you use? Or shoes too tight?

    yeah could be that they were too tight across the toes,, like em tight but poss were too tight
