Problems with Bikely - why won't it load!!

Hi, is anyone else having problems with Bikely?? For some reason it won't load on my machine anymore (problems have only started occuring in the last couple of weeks). When I try to load a page, it says 'done' in the bottom left corner of the screen - but everything is white!! It works on a friend laptop (via my network) so I'm sure it's not a router/connection issue. Anything else it could be!!
Help!!
I use bikely a fair bit to look at routes etc and this is REALLY annoying me now!!

Check you have the latest version of Java installed for your browser and that your browser isn't set up to block javascript, such as might happen if using a pop-up ad blocker.
Clear the browser offline storage cache too, so that it will reload the entire page next time rather than restore previously downloaded data.0 -
Hi Kirky, I just tried it and I experience the same thing. However, it works fine if I go to a different page, say http://www.bikely.com/listpaths/country ... city/12008
just not the homepage. Not sure why, but that effect is normally caused by there being a problem with the backend database and php errors being turned off (you see a blank page rather than the error list).
Hope that helps.0 -
If all the above doesn't work, try deleting cookies. I have had Bikely go "wobbly" before and removing all cookies related to it fixed it (then I had to log in again but...)0

I also am having a lot of trouble with Bikely.com today, I often get a completely blank page, or cannot save my route. What am I doing wrong?
Above, someone linked to http://www.bikely.com/listpaths/country ... city/12008 but I can't get that to work, either. Deleting cookies and logging in again did not help. Someone else above said I need to fix the 'backend database' but I don't know what that is or where to find it.0 -
Had the same blank page problem, installed the latest Java update, as per suggestion from LC, and it now works. It doesn't get any easier, but I don't appear to be getting any faster.0

What is the "Java update" and where do I get it? Why does Bikely.com need it?0

We're currently looking into this problem. I can't promise a quick fix but it is top of the list.Jeff Jones

I'm having the same problem with Bikely, where pages won't load.
However, this only happens with Internet Explorer (currently using IE7, not sure about IE6) but doesn't happen on Mozilla Firefox. The pages load completely, and all the Bikely functions work normally with Firefox.
Hopefully this info might assist with the troubleshooting.
Cheers,
Matt.0
