Le Terrier. 7th June

The Le Terrier located in the Bowland appears to have opened to entries.

It does not look huge in terms of distances but looks quite enjoyable. A non-commercial event organised by Lancaster CC. 80 and 45 miles. I have always wanted to ride in the Forest of Bowland area - looks great.

Has anybody ridden this event before? And if it is naff, I would rather you don't tell me as I have already parted with my cash!

I haven't ridden the event so I couldn't comment on that, but I've ridden in the Forest of Bowland many times and it certainly is nice out there.

Got my entry in this morning for it since its right on my door step and im a member of Lancaster CC now.
Comments from last year were "its like a mini fred whitton". 1 nice long climb in the first 6 miles as you leave lancaster up a short step hill then drop over into Quermore, then the nice long climb up Clougha and past Jubile towers. This climb is used by LCC as part of their hill climb competition.

Just need to get myself fit now

never ridden the event but have ridden many sections of the course, i am local so its "my back garden" the ride up to jubilee towers is great and then coming from slaidburn to wray sees some decent climbs.
