Inspiration

Went for my usual early morning training spin, but this morning I found that I was more positive and seemed to have more energy. I find Obama's inauguration so inspiring that I managed a 2 mph improvement in my average speed. I know it's crazy but for the first time in weeks there was no ice on the road!

    I was invited to have some cake this morning in our office to celebrate his inauguration this evening.

    He's an inspirational guy alright, but I suspect even the most powerful man in the world can't be held responsible for the ice melting this morning (.............unless it's global warming of course).

    Not sure how Obama is going to live up to all the hype - he's got some very expensive ideas in a country that is going through financial meltdown.
