Pitch Pro vs Remedy 7/8

Hi,
Some of you might have read I got a Pitch Pro stolen last week which I am about to replace. I am pretty sold on it still, such an awesome bit of kit for a little over a grand.
But might be able to get a Trek direct and cheap, so just wondering about a Remedy, like the bikes although not sure I actually need an extra inch of travel and that they''re particularly any better than a Pitch considering the price differential.
Any comments and experiences welcome.

The Pitch is a great bike no doubts but if i had your sort of money i would buy the Remedy, i saw on in my local Evans recently and they look stunning (it was the remedy 7 by the way).0
