Turned up this morning!
This was meant to be a Yay thread after my first ride, but took it out of the box and the frame and forks are covered in chips! Contacted Pearsons and waiting for them to get back to me about getting a replacement.

Well impressed by Pearsons. They were very apologetic, collected the bike from my work on thursday rebuilt it friday and sent it straight back out, turned up at half 9 this morning.
It looks great! very nice looking bike! can't wait to go out on it tonight.
can't complain as the problem was dealt with so well.0 -

There is a carbon fork on thre, just not very visible in these photos. Got some gaurds too, just bought them seperately and not put them on yet.
Premier?
I love it, apart from on the ride home up my huge hill to my house the rear wheel very slightly started to bind on the brakes. Need to tighten it up or get some chain tugs.0 -
Oh it just looks like a steel fork.
Yeah, Premier. Basically Pearson is in South London my LBS is in North London. They have the same supplier. So the frame is exactly the same!

I agree, think that is the steel pearson Hanzo frame not the Touche one. Obvious difference is the downtube shape.
Will put photo's in the single speed appreciation thread.0 -
With the 'guards on and track drop outs - what's the quickest way of getting the back wheel out?0

its a bit of a bitch but i wouldnt ride winter without mudguards anymore. its bad enough that the rain gets me without the disgustingness that is road dirt!BMC TM01 - FCN 0

Do you not have the safety clips on the guards ? So that if anything gets wedged - they should unclip before you get thrown over the bars ?0
