hi guys and girls at MBUK,

Am not being rude at all but i am wondering if admin1 has had a chance to read my pm i sent to him entitled "wht do you think" in two parts I did also send it to Doddy but he didnt reply either, i know you guys are busy so i know it takes time to reply to everything.
Please could you get around to replying to my PM as i have a service booked in for my bike next week and anything tht needs to be done is getting done then apart from the full strip/rebuild

Many Thanks

Keep on trekking !!!

admin1 hasn't logged in for a long, long time - and he apologises.

If i were you i'd post your question on the relevant section of the MTB forum and ask other users for their opinion.
  • sorry mate i know he is busy, just want a pro opinion from someone lie doddy or similar person who is into upgrades and tinkering etc .....

Is there anyone who could oblige l??

    keep on trekking!!!

Speed King. My advice would be to post in the general section. You will get a response in there. Here isn't really the place to do it.
  • I understand GT but i did want a pro's opinion not meaning to be offensive to anyone honestly i know a few riders in here and do value all opinions but i wanted it looked at by someone who does this fo a living i didnt know wherelse to post it to get the offices attention

Sorry for bugging (btw the actual stuff i want looking at is in "what you think?" abit further down the page

And Mic have i offended you or something im only wanting a reply to my post whats wrong with tht?

    Keep on trekking!!!

If you`ve been browsing the forums for a while you get to know whose advice is reliable and you can differentiate between this and the twoddle that certain members spout.

Im sorry that our opinion isnt good enough for you. you obviously know us all and what we do for a living and how long we've been riding and what sort of riding we do and this completely discounts our worth when it comes to giving an opinion on your precious bike.
  • really sorry Jesus christ i didnt mean any offence of course your opinion is wanted as is all of the readers in the site i was mearly saying tht because i have had some crap in here and wanted to turn to pro advice first thats all mate....
Honestly didnt mean any offence and sorry if i have offended you.
not my nature i promise !

I would value your opinion as well as the next so if you want to please do mate

    Hope you accept my apology

There are pro riders, pro mechanics, magazine writers and many industry people who post in this forum. But also a lot of people just like you who ride bikes and have perfectly valid opinions, maybe better ones, especially on something as varied as the question you asked. Good advice on matters like this comes from a variety of angles where it can be discussed, not just one person.

I don't think you meant to offend anyone, but it comes across that way: however your apology is very welcome, so I hope that people respond in your other thread. I'm off to give my opinion ;-)

Surely if you want professional advice, the best thing (other than asking here) is to ring a professional company and ask them ?

Why discount members on here, it's complete insanity.
