Looking for wheel recommendation

Hi Forum,
I've got a Colnago Master on order for 2009 and it'll soon be time to think of the wheels. Pretty much decided on furnishing the bike with the 11 speed Record set, inc. hubs. Has anyone used a pair of wheels recently they are impressed enough to recommend ? I'm 10 stone, usage will be your typical rutted British back roads plus a bit of amateur road racing if I get fit enough. Traditional look preferred to suit the lines of the Master, any advice or pointers to a good pair of hoops wold be welcome! Budget up to 500 ish.
cheers.

I have the '09 Mavic Krysium Elites, which are excellent. Much lighter that the previuos Elites (1550g) and only slightly heavier that the SL's, which are alot more money. You can get the new elites for under 400 and are lighter than almost anything else for that price.
Also the Fulcrum racing 3, or 1 might be worth a try. A slightly more aero look to them and ride v nicely.0 -
Neutron or Neutron Ultras (if you don't want 3G spoiling the retro aesthetics)?0

Campag Zonda are pretty superb with Pro Race 3 tyres. For £350 all in you can't argue.Don't rake up my mistakes, i know exactly what they are.0
