hi all,

Took my rockhopper disc 08 for it 1st outing today, weather had been poor for days in central scotland, so i set off to sauchie dam, which i knew the trail would be mucked up after all the rain...

the bike itself was very repsonsive in all aspects of the ride and very light. the drive chain and gear changes were all very smooth, ( once i got a hang of them )

the shocks stiffness could be adjusted with one small movement, which i thought was handy as the route i have chosen was road and track...

only negative about the bike, is the tyres that are standard, were sport tyres... just kept slipping in the heavy stuff...

So thanks to all the commented on this forum, as your advice help me with the purchase

Thanks again
