help with bike??

i am currently riding a stock stp2 and wish to upgrade

dont really know where to start so any ideas will be much appreciated

    First off I would ask why do you feel the need to upgrade? Anything letting you down? That would be the place to start.

    yeah, whats wrong with it? its a pretty decent bike for the money and its a pretty solid frame. rode a mates a a few months back and was pretty impressed with it. it needs a dirt jump fork maybe, but apart from that its a good bike.

    however, if youre looking for soemthing more bombproof or lighter then you need to give us an idea of how much you can spend and what you want it for. you ought to know by now that there is really no limit to what you can spend on a bike so some sort of cap is needed.

    are you riding the same trails as before or do you want to go totally street? maybe you want to do some north shore type riding and so on.

    give us a clue.
