I’m off to Tenerife in late March for one week; I’ll be staying in the south of the Island. Can anyone tell me of a good bike hire shop the may also do tours around the island. 8)

I can deliver to the South, there's minimum of 3 days rental for that service though.
Unfortunately no tours available from the South

I took my own bike, which was actually quite easy. Once there, I rode routes described on the website mentioned above. I think they mostly start in the north of the island, but they are really very good.

http://www.cyclingtenerife.com/ are based in San Miguel, in the south. Its a bloke by the name of Geoff and he does both bike hire and tours.

I stayed there late last year for a few days (they do accommodation too) - but took my own bike; nice bloke and a bit of guidance on routes was handy as some of the roads are a bit crappy.
