...I can't be bothered to get changed and go out :(

Got up at 6.45 had a coffe, breakfast, walked the dog - now just seems that getting changed and going out is too much hassle.
Been looking at the forecast the last few days, was expecting gale force winds and rain, so maybe my mind was set on not going out before I even got up.

Oh well, maybe get a few jobs done that I keep putting off. :(
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

I know how you feel. It was nice here yesterday and I felt the same as you. It's nice again today but I have other things to do.

I've just returned covered in mud and soaking wet :) . Some words of advice for anyone going out around the Sevenoaks area, be careful!! Due to the strong winds and heavy rain last night some of the minor roads have a good covering of debris.

I'm feeling the same way. I was expecting it to be wet and windy today but it's currently soaked roads and blue sky with a forecast for wintery showers. :? So I'm going to Tescos and then planning some routes for later in the year.
I'd rather walk than use Shimano
  • What a nice winter's day for a ride - shame I now have to clean all the crud off my bike :(

The wind on Cannock Chase was pretty mental today. Ended up having to pedal hard down some of the hills in order to not stop.

I told myself to buck the fuck up and get out on my bike....and did a nice pleasant 17 miles. And now I'm off shopping at Tescos!! :D

I thought I'd come back pretty filthy last week - but today's ride was equally manky. The low winter sun and dirty glasses made for some pretty sketchy moments, particularly with a larger than usual bunch and a few riders whose handling skills were a bit rusty!
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Georgeous day for riding today. A bit windy and cold but it was worth it for the views down the Colne Valley from the top of Buckstones.

Disappointed with the good weather today. Went out yesterday, and based on the cr@p forecast I saw for today, I turned the alarm clock off and woke up late and pottered round for ages and ages before going out to the shops. What a glorious day for a ride

I thought I'd regret not going out but, despite a decent days weather being missed, it doesn't really bother me. :?

Managed to get a couple of client tax returns done, the food shopping, and a few other bits that I've been putting off so not been a total loss.

Wish I could get back into the swing of things :(

  • On a tight schedule yesterday but crammed in a short ride of 15 miles mainly because I thought that the forecast for today meant that i would have to go for a walk rather than ride the bike. How wrong I was !. Fantastic day. Did 40 miles or so in bright, clear sunshine. Not particularly windy untill later and although it was very wet in the lanes, it only added to the adventure. If this is winter, you can stuff the summer.

Just an incident filled 12 miles today but wanted to try the hack in it's new guise.

Takes January's meagerly sum , albeit mainly MTB, over the 100 mile mark.
