Not much room on the handlebars

I've got a Tricross Sport - with the extra brake levers on the handlebars, there isn't room to fit a bar-bag. Could I fit on some aerobars and attach a bag to them? It's more for the balance of load on the bike, rather than quick access to stuff...
PS I did ask about moving the extra brake levers further out, but apparently it's expensive and difficult.

I use a bar bag and cross top levers. I've used an extension part for my bag and angled the levers down, no problem using them.
Here's the Klick fix version Ortlieb also make one.
I wouldn't use a bar bag to carry enough weight to balance the bike, I find they're best used for lighter stuff so as not to affect handeling. If you want to add weight to the front, think about a mini rack with either a rack bag or something like the tent on it.
There's a nice Nitto one0 -
I like the Nitto one!
Actually dug out my old (smallish) ortlieb bar bag, and it seems to fit in amongst the wires and things okay. Just need to remove the reflector and belll... :? Also the map-case on the top is a bit broken...0 -
I use the extension that SJS Cycles do.

It's very good. A no-regrets purchase"There are holes in the sky,

this was my setup for cycling around Oz. I found a larger bar bag fouled the cables but this one was quite adeqaute for basics like camera and wallet. The carbon stubbies are Thorn's own make; expensive but very comfy position.
