I'm looking for some good touring routes in the South that have good campsites etc along the way, I've looked on the Sustrans site but they don't have a lot in the south

the south in my case meaning Hampshire mainly but also dorset

things like the South downs way are too off roady and i ride that regualrly on my mtb anyhow. i'm looking for some pre-mapped out routes for touring in rural hampshire/new forest/dorset does this sort of thing exist?

when i say 'touirng' i mean one or two nights!

thanks
Carbon fibre, it's all nonsense. Drink beer. Ride a steel bike. Don't be a ponce.

I bought a map from the Local Tourist Information place. Most if not all the routes shown are off road along Forestry roads or the old Castelman railway but from memory it also highlighted which roads tended to be busy and which quiet. Most of my cycling is around the New forest and east Dorset and provided you keep clear of the 31,the338, the 36 and the 35 the roads are not too bad. There are obvious exceptions if there are county fairs and the like on.
