I've got a DVD of this - I'll have to watch it soon. I've been making my way through the 90's Giro's the last few months.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

The whole race was bizarre. You had Dr Ferrari as the team medic for Gewiss but he was allegedly being paid one hundred million lira by Toni Rominger and was getting similar sums to "prepare" other riders too. How did he manage this conflict of interest, how did riders trust each him? The mind boggles :?

    Guys,
Olivero Rincon... a Columbian in ONCE who faded as the EPO era took hold...remember his 1993 TDF stage win...

I'd love pro cycling to track down Meija, Rincon and get some honest answers out of them

Kleber, I think ferrari got fired in 1994 after the Gewiss 123Fleche when he made the remarks about eluding dope controls and EPO being like orange juice.
  • Best thing about the Gewiss team were the bikes.

Damn those De Rosa's were a pretty bike.
