Caliper bolt length for HSC5 fork
Just built up a 585 with 2008 campagnolo chorus, and I'm a bit worried about the length of the front brake caliper bolt. Fork is the HSC5, I wasn't aware that there were different lengths of caliper bolt for different forks I have to admit.
Feels like I have got about 5 or 6 threads on the bolt but not more than that. Rather not have the front brake fall off if possible!
Do I need to buy a new brake caliper for the front or can I get a longer bolt? Instruction manual for chorus talks about 3 different lengths, I think I have the shortest version.
Thanks!

You can just get a long bolt. Many fork manufacturers provide longer bolts for this purpose. Visit a good local bike shop and they will help or you can shop for them online, buy a longer one, often they are titanium.0

I had the same issue with the very deep forks on my Colnago CLX with chorus calipers,I managed to get a 35mm recessed bolt from an LBS and this did the trick giving me loads of thread engagement.0
