Hopefully quick and easy for you!

1. Will a tiagra cassette fit a sora hub? (both 9 speed, but think the answer is still no!)
2. Will a 9 spd tiagra cassette fit a 10spd 105 hub? (assume yes, just no spacer?)

Thanks!

    1. yes
    2. yes

All shimano hubs are now 8/9/10 speed. There used to be only 10spd, but they don't make 'em anymore.

There's some dura-ace and ultegra hubs with aluminium freehub bodies that are 10-speed only. The splines are taller because the aluminium is relatively soft, and the matching deep spline cassettes are 10-speed only.
