Just seen my Ransom with its new Ata fork installed and I decided to check the length comparison with my old R fork and it seems my ata is a couple of inches shorter than my R fork fully extended!
Is this a defect and it needs to go back to windwave?

sounds like you need to chech both the +ve and -ve air chambers. Well in your forks case a single valve?

Or i would be setting the fork up first at full travel and then seeing how the adjuster works.

yeah I think my fork is a single since i don't see any other air valves And my silver ata dial is fully dialed up . Hope this isn't a problem inherited from its 2008 cousin the ata2

Little update . My forks that were mounted on my Ransom have suffered a defective TST2 catridge preventing my forks from rebound adjustment or even lockout coupled to that the LBS says that they also think its oil bath is wayy too low .
And this is coming from a fresh new one!
Right now the fork is being RTMed back to windwave leaving me bikeless for 2 weeks
Not good. :( These problems look like they were inherited from the 55 ATA2 . I'm just hoping these 09s are not just repackaged 08 ata2s having failed just before I can leave the LBS I pruchased them from (Evans)
