Yeah, they're advertised as have removable patella pads but there doesn't seem to be anyway to get them out???
  • Its a mis-print. The pads don't come out.

Just been geting a pair myself and they're damn comfy :)

Thats alright then, just i was thinking i'd been sold some dodgy copies or something.

Aye, they're the best knee pads i've ever had, don't even notice they're there, and keep your knees warm in this Artic weather :D
  • try putting them in as they are shouldnt do any harm

Washed mine OK, just make sure the straps aren't flailng around. Wish I'd had them on last Saturday when the ice got me, knee's still sore now

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result

Fingers OK, nearly back to normal, it's the right knee that's still hurting, feels really bruised. Ok most of the time but if I kneel down or bang it on something it really hurts.

Looks like I've finally got a New Year's resolution, wear my bl**dy Kyle Strait knee pads when it's icey, hell I've recommended them enough on here for being comfy  .

Get some of those mesh bags that are designed to go in the washing machine, and put the pads in them - saves any loose straps from getting tangled in the machine.

Yeah, I wasn't going to mention that, I used the bag we, er, wash the reusable nappies in.......

  • What are the sizes like for the Kyle Straights?

I want some lite pads for trail centre use, and have just got the 661 Veggie knee wraps. I ordered the medium and they are just way too tight, my mate ordered them in large and they are a bit too big.

I am going to return the medium ones and probably order the large veggie wraps, but if the kyle straights are more comfortable I could order them.

Has anyone tried the Veggie wraps and the Kyle straights? Which one is most comfortable? Are they the same size, if I need a large in the veggie wraps would I need a large in the Kyle straights?
