Iain, are you on twitter? I am...quite good getting news from the subjects rather than the medium of other media...so many papers/online media are forced to quote LA on twitter now...yet more power being removed from the media IMO. One day cycling mags will go bust IMO

Dave, magazines will indeed disappear one day, although I'll miss the glossy photographs and being able to file them in the smallest room.

But I've no desire to get the news directly from the "subjects" themselves. If Twitter had been around in the 1970s, you'd have got your news directly from President Nixon, without the pesky interference of annoying journalists uncovering corruption and the like. Likewise, you watch MUTV if you want the latest unbiased and balanced news on Man Ure - I'll rely on the experts to present the news.
