Does the forum have a general view on a good pair of mudguards? I've just bought a Boardman Hybrid Comp to use in the wet, and would like something not too bulky (currently 28mm tires, might switch to 32 or even 35 in due course) that will work with its disc brakes. Thanks!

Note: I tried searching, but everything I tried came back with just about every thread in commuting!

SKS chromoplastics are probably the default choice for most, available at most LBS's.

IIRC they come in two widths but the narrow one works fine with 32c if you have room in the frame for them.

Generally speaking everyone recommends SKS Chromoplastic mudguards unless there's a specific reason why you can't use them (don't fit, incorrect mounts, etc etc). I've got a pair and they do exactly what they say on the tin.

Thanks for the info folks - I already have some race blades and figured that might be the answer, but good to know!
