Bleeding Kit

hi all im kinda new to mountain biking and need some help i need to bleed my breaks and dont wanna pay the rediculous amount they wanna charge you. ok i have a GT Avanlanche 2.0 and it has Tektro Augria Comp breaks now i cant find a bleed kit anywere, can anyone help me with this do i need a bleed kit or not.

  • Don`t necessarily need the specific kit.You could get some 3mm windscreen washer tube from Halfords,an old jam jar and buy some fluid.Probabaly DOT 4 fluid but check.Yo`ull find the gerneral priciples of brake bledding on the park tools website,but if you have ever beld the brakes on a car or motorbike its the exact same process.

    you dont need a bleed kit. ive serviced 5 sets of hydraulic disc brakes and ive never used a bleed kit.
