I treated myself to a full face helmet the other day and i was just wondering if there is best way of attaching it to my camel bak? i don't fancy going to put it on and it being soaking wet or turning round and seeing it roll down the hill

    Manc,

I think you missed the point, your'e supposed to put it on your head!! :D

Seriously though it depends on your camel bak!!

I have the camel bak chaos which has straps so it's not so bad and the helmet can't fall off as the clips are those ones you get on back packs!!

My camelbak has a flap over the big cap thing with a plastic clip on it (I think most camelbak models have) I just feed the flap through the helmets chin bar and click it in place. Hasn't failed me yet.

Again, it depends what model Camelbak. I have a Chaos which has clips and straps all over, so I can pass two straps through the chin bar of my lid.

The Mayhem has a proper cradle for a full-face lid, but some of the smaller ones don't have any external fastenings at all.

    On your head mate lol
But when carrying it around I use a clip what the climbers use
to attach ropes from about £ 3.00p
