These guys have a January sale on at the moment and I'm very tempted to buy a bike from them. Before I part with my hard earned, has anybody else bought from them before?

I guess my main concern is how well built and set up the bike is likely to be.... :?

I have used them a couple of times and have found them excellent just as good as CRC etc but cheaper. :

Only bits but have found them very quick and very helpfull on the phone.

They're fine. Used for a few small bits but no problems.

Bought a giant ....er...... roadie :oops: of them 5 months ago. Arrived without bars, wheels, seatpost; the usual mail order situation. My gears and brakes needed some fettling before they worked to their best, but nothing too taxing.

my gf ordered a bike from them, the website and emailed invoice said 10 for shipping. Got an email a day afterwards saying shipping will be 30 and will not be next day delivery (CRC is free and next day). Asked them would they honour the invoice they emailed, they said they wouldnt and cancelled the order without even asking!!! In the end she asked for the order to proceed with 30 for shipping and was assured the order would be dispatch on friday. Contacted them on friday, order will not be dispatced to monday now!! Not great customer service at all. Wont be using them again.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm very tempted to go for it. £100 off a new Rockhopper is a nice deal
