HI gus im looking to order my bike asap so im looking for your help again
I have been looking at this as it seems a good deal but is there better for the money?

Ive seen various Trek and GT bikes which all seem to have good deals on. I'm just wondering what you guys think? And if you can give me any reccommendations?
Many thanks, Choosing a bike shouldnt be so hard

Would you consider them better than the merlin malt 1 i gave above?
Basically i just want the best bike i can get for my budget. There really is just so much choice and i don't know anything about the technical details at all0 -
i probably would. the frame on rockhoppers are well known for their brilliant frames.
but saying that i probably wouldnt be able to tell the difference. might be lighter and bit better speced bikes around but malt is supposed to be a great bike. i doubt you will regret buying one. i`m guessing you havnt had a go on one yet?"My life is like a porno-movie, without the sex".0 -
Unfortunatly i live in Northern Ieland so there is no way for me to test one until i buy it :P
So i just want to make sure that whatever one i get is the best one as it's the one i will be keeping0 -
just looked at a few reviews on it and their all good. if you like the look of it at least then go for it. dont think you can go wrong really. it would be better to test ride a bike before you buy it but if you cant you cant. think you can up the spec if you wanted"My life is like a porno-movie, without the sex".0

There isn't really a 'best' bike. Maybe best on paper value, but what one likes and another are two different things.
Good news is that all the bikes mentioned are good value, well reviewed with no drawbacks.
If I had to buy blind I would get a Carrera Fury - probably has the best overall ride and features for the money and a great a fork.
The MALT is very well specced, but quite basic frame.0
