Some pretty spiffy utensils you have hanging up on that rack.

Nice frame, where did you get it?

Also, funky crankset and bars - great minds think alike. 8)

PS: Why does everyone photograph their bike in their kitchen?
  • The frame is my old GT Aggressor frame, I looked at the bike last august and decided to rebuild it.

Been a bit of a nightmare, but its finally finished. Only thing that is original is the seat and frame

The bike shop valued it at a £1000

Dunno why the kitchen, just seemed to be there when I took the pictures lol

The kitchen (if you have no garage) is the ultimate bike workshop.

Hot and cold running water, it's warm and dry, food and beer in the fridge, plenty of rags, loads of cleaning liquds and such like, worktops to put parts and tools on.................

Hmmm, sure it is an Agressor? What is the frame number?

    £1000 bloody hell!

Halfords valued my (stolen) '06 Orange 5 custom spec (RS Revelations, X9, Hope, Thomson, Hayes, Mavic..) @ £1300, I had worked out a replacement figure at more like £2800.

Its definitely a aggressor as I bought the bike new about 10 years ago and painted the frame myself.

I have pictures of the original frame...

  • I took my bike picures in the kitchen because I wanted everyone to see my new toaster too.

    Cool ride by the way...

Nice looking bike but what makes it worth 1K ?

Its is a decade old gt frame with a few nice bits on it. I No offence but if you put it up for sale in the classifieds, in all probability, it wouldn't fetch a third of that value surely ?

Is it insured for £1000? Or have the bike shop just said it might be worth £1000?
    Paypal fee calculator - http://www.rolbe.com/ppcalc.htm

    A useful tool...
  • If he wanted to replace it, it'll cost a grand?!

Wouldn't you have been better going to a proper bike shop/Orange dealer?
  • Thats what the bike shop have said.
