Went to Mountain Warehouse earlier today for some new ski clothing and noticed they had a tiny bike section. Only thing of note was a helmet which had been knocked down to £6.99 from £24.99.

It was never worth £24.99 to start with but at £6.30 (less 10% http://www.mountainwarehouse.com/discount) it's certainly worth a punt.

It includes a clip on visor.

Does it have the relevant safety standards, there should be stickers inside the helmet with the CE certification mark on it

  • Any helmet sold in the UK will meet certain minimum safety standards. After that you're paying for style, comfort, weight, ventilation, and things like crash replacement deals.

Looks like a perfectly good helmet. I would still never buy one without trying it on first though!
