I have been looking for a pair of bib tights, but navy or light blue. Does anyone know where i can get some, but not at ridiculous pries.

Cheers

  • I have some both navy and royal blue, Alexa in lombardia fabric from Oldham Cycle Centre. They're now surosa.co.uk but I really don't know if they're still doing Alexa. Not sure if that helps?!!

What exactly are bib tights for?
I wear normal tights but find navy a little less flattering than black. Not sure why.
Is the bumble bee look intentional by the way?
    (bzzz)
  • I tried Prendas they do not have my size and will not be re-ordering.

The bee look is intentional, as its is my employers logo who sponsored our little team for London to Brighton BHF.

What are they like? I'm split between them and Walsall Roads... Will be coming along for a ride with both at some point, just looking for impressions.

Same question - been saying for the last few years that I'd pull my finger out and rejoin a club, maybe 2009 will be the year. Fitness has slipped the last couple of years though so need to get some miles in, starting tomorrow - looks to be windy but at least it shouldn't be icy.

I did turn up for a Sunday morning open invitation 10 mile TT a couple of years ago that Walsall were organising and the few that turned out (3 degrees in Feb was not the best weather for first TT!!) seemed friendly enough. At least they didn;t laugh and ridicule my time (until I'd left anyway  )
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos
  • I can not say what Walsall Roads are like, i have never been with them they are a little too far out for me. The Giro however are a very friendly group of ladies and gentlemen. A wide range of abilities and when i rode with them, they all waited at the tops of hills, and i was made extremely welcome by all.
What has impressed me is the number of social activities, visiting races abroad, and their own training camp in May.
I think i have found what i want from a club.
