That must be what they had fitted to the Kiron in CW the other week.

Looks a better idea, particularly the front. Currently after a ride with RaceBlades fitted my fork crown looks like its been in a pie fight.

    they look really good!

I have a cheap pair of clip-ons that I bought in halfords that I hate - they tap tap tap the fork crown all bloody ride and never seem to stay put.

any idea on how much - a quick search didn't find a seller yet!

The big disadvantage of raceblades is that if you don't get the position right, the lack of a securing point at the back of the brake means they can wear away chunks of your caliper - they should also move around less which probably means they won't wear out the paint on the forks and stays too.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

If anyone buys them report back, please.Unfortunately I bought raceblades just the other day.I didn`t really want to but my ar#e was getting soaked right through but the front one seems to make the spray worse.

May look into these when I get back from the states, how do you figure out tire size so I can make sure I get the right ones?

Is it just listed on the side of the tyre?

Only fit up to 23C tyres which is a shame. What about all the 25C winter tyre users? Think I'll stick with my trusty Raceblades myself.

Oh. The .PDF link seems to suggest suggest they're good for 20C thru 25C. In reality is this not the case?

Ahh yes perhaps you're right. The Chain reaction link has 23s listed. Do they come in different sizes I'm wondering.

I've just fitted a pair of these to the focus. They fit very well and more easily than raceblades due the extra fixing point and being able to slide through the stays until screwed. fitting took no more than 5 minutes and that includes taking the back wheel off to fit the rear guard clip.

I wouldn't risk them on 25's though unless it's a thin 25. These are a very close fit to 23's especially under the back brake caliper. The packaging does state up to 25's. Once fitted they are solid, they have the fixing point on the fork/rear caliper then 2 large rubber grips on the stays. I've also stuck a couple of cableties on mine, as I did with raceblades. They don't rattle or rub on the tyre.

Highly recommended, except I've paid £68 because paypal has paid Chain Reaction twice!!!! They are also not silver, more of a chrome finish for anyone trying to co-ordinate

They are more sturdy than raceblades. You have the fixing point at the top of the guard, sliding stays to adjust the guard which are good and solid. There are then tiny screws that go into these once you're sure of the position.

I never really had too much trouble with the raceblades once cable tied ( 2 on each support foot ). There in no chance of these banging the calipers as raceblades can do though.

So far so good, time will tell :)

Just got mine today. Tried to fit to my commute bike an Orbea. Tried for ages to fit but was having none of it. I ended up lightening the rear caliper and the tyre still slightly fouls the rivets on the mudguard and this is with 23c tyres. If you do want to get these make sure you have enough clearance between tyre and caliper, I would say at a rough guess about 7mm.

have you undone the barrel adjusters where the stays mount the guards?

They raise and lower the guards away from the tyre

That wasn't the problem, the problem was the clip to the pivot of the calipers and the clearance to the tyre

Well I've had raceblades for a couple of months and I'm quite happy with them!!!

I fitted them to my Orbea Aqua 09 bike and as long as you get the rear one reasonable positioned (they seem to have a tendency to curl slightly!) they've been nothing but 100% effective and have kept me dry, which is the main thing.

They were a fiddle to fit; my problem was that I have a c ateye computer and the sensor was fitted on the front fork just where the raceblade mounting goes.

Anyone know whether these will fit a Spech Rubaix with the strange zertz inserts? Raceblades certainly do not. These look the mutsnuts if they'll fit.
