Just started getting into the bikeing thing and bought an 08 fury. Not that i know what im talking about but i must say that im very pleased with my purchase. However, there seems to be a problem with the gearchange, it seems nice and smooth and fine in all gears except second. It used to jump about between 2nd and 3rd when the lever was in the 2nd possition. I took it back to halfords and they changed the cable and adjusted it all up, it now stays in gear but the chain seems to rub as though its rubbing against another gear. Also its quite stiff to get it up into 1st and you have to pash the click lever quite firmly to get it there. Any ideas? Not too technical please, i am the new guy.

Sounds like it needs fine tuning. New cables 'stretch' (or bed in) which can cause them to go a bit off.
If you look on the gear shifter there is a little adjsuter where the cable enters it. This sets cable tension. Try adding a quarter of a turn to add tension (anticlockwise) and see how it feels. Keep adding and get a feel for how it changes. Or back off the tension!

Also with the stiff top change, it could be to do with the upper limiter on the mech. couple of screws at the back.
again check the park tools site0 -
