No shops in East or central London stock any of it
Unless its old stock left on shelves
Not great help I know but I have to go to stores back from
outer areas where they sell Downhill/Freeride clothing
Where in East London are you im In EastHam
I do buy from Chain Reaction or Online cycles these have a shop in Buckhursthill
But have a small stock but do price match or order for you.
Anymore questions please ask0 -
there is a size guide on their webby. if your not sure tell me your measurements and i might be able to help, i have exactly what your looking at knee and elbows. both very comfy, you dont notice your wearing them when riding."My life is like a porno-movie, without the sex".0

weird. 3 mates wear the same knee pads and all say they dont notice them. never bothered me and i regularly do 2hr+ rides. are you sure your wearing the the knee pads on the knees and not the elbows?"My life is like a porno-movie, without the sex".0

Yeah, I'm aware the Kyle Straits are there but not in any bad way, no restriction, discomfort, movement, any of the usual bad pad stuff. They're quite bulky with the side protection but that's a very good thing IMO. I really love mine.
The Chicken Wings I'm a bit less impressed with, the pad feels a little stiff so with bent elbows they're very noticable. Maybe that'll wear in over time. Still, they're certainly not bad at all, they don't restrict on-bike movement at all, and having just tested one yesterday they offer good protection despite their small size. I'm not entirely sure I'd buy another set but I'm not going to be replacing them either, they're in that "acceptable but not amazing" area if you know what I mean.
Remember that if you buy a set online and they don't fit you always have the right of return within the UK.Uncompromising extremist0 -
used the size guide on the crc web site. reckon im xl leg and l arm. weren t exactly sure where to measure though. all i did was look a pictures of people wearing the gear im after. and looking how high or low they sit on leg or arm. so only best guess really.0
