not suggesting that my figures are particularly high and not wishing to introduce a competetive edge onto this thread, merely a matter of interest. for the record mine was 2,528.75; 647.77 touring. could analyse the figures into months but can't be bothered

Approx 2500 miles. 1030 of these were touring, the rest were commuting which i don't use my computer on. Plus a few more miles for odd rides to the shops and station. Hoping to do many more this year.0
-
About 5500: 1200 were commuting, the rest was training and leisure riding plus some races and sportives. I clocked up a few extra hours on the indoor trainer too where I don't record the distance.0

Somewhere around 6000. I'll probably do less this year as I've taken up running, so have a couple of half marathons and a couple of full marathons to train for.0
-
6127 miles, of which 52% on fixed. Better than 2007, 1000 less than in 2005 or 2006.d.j.

Around 8000, mostly since April, I'd have hit 10000 if I never took a performance hit when I moved to Manchester0
-
Rough calculation about 3000. I guess that's about average for me. As best I can figure it that;s about £300 in diesel (I think)0
-
9,778 miles.
Hope to top 10,000 this year.0 -
Ooh, let me think, Lincoln and half way backish, before calling out the Voiture Balai!
That'll be at least 25 :oops:Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.0 -
not enough0

Targetted 2000 miles from April ( no commuting). Jumped on the bike for a post New Year spin, and the Odo reads 1,969 miles. DOH!
3000 this year though, and credit crunch permitting, maybe a nice new carbon bike - we can always dream.0 -

Didnt start logging mileage till early October but managed a shade over 1000 till year end. Bit of a late comer to the sport of cycling.2 Wheels or not 2 wheels..That is not in question.0

2625 miles in 2008.
Target is 4000 for this year. The cold icy conditions aren't exactly helping the start though.Stumpjumper FSR 09/10 Pro Carbon, Genesis Vapour CX20 ('17)Carbon, Rose Xeon CW3000 '14, Raleigh R50

Just sorted all mine out and from Feb to Nov on the Roadie I managed 3248 then in Nov I bought my Fixie and from Nov to year end I done just over 590 on that one.
Giving a total of around 3839 happy with that as my first year of owning a road bike, but would like to do a lot more than that this year!0 -
About 5000 miles inc 37 miles per week commuting.0
-
2007 total was 4697 miles at ave 17.77 mph and 2008 total was 5166 at 17.82 mph ave, this year will try to do 5200 to give an ave 100 miles per week, just could,nt quite make it for 20080
-
5800 at about 16 mph0
-
About 3,000 miles, will aim for 5k this year, but haven't been out on the bike this year apart from going down the shops.0
-
-
good point owenlars to give your average speed, as a 2 hour ride in devon or yorkshire won't give you as many miles for your money as cambridgeshire0
-
Just under 3000 miles this year, a bit rubbish really but already got a decent start this year! Aiming for 5000 miles for 2009 (the problem isnt the fitness, its the motivation )0
-
around 3000, which doesn't include the hours spent indoor cycling. Quite chuffed with that considering. I'd like to do 5000 this year.0
-
Total for 2008 was 4681...just missing out on my target of 5k. Still, way better than 2007's effort of 2941.
Hope to hit the 5k this year but other activities can get in the way.0 -
6.7 miles....Cycling never gets any easier, you just go faster - Greg LeMond0
-
probably 5000plus. Gone off computers on the bike. Not enough anyway with that crap summer.Nothing to prove. http://adenough1.blogspot.co.uk/0

9498, no idea on average speed, some twiddling some balls out stuff.0

I didn't. I did lots of kilometres though. It's the 21st century0
